We are flying into Lisbon and driving down to the Algarve in a rental car. There is also a train rom Lisbon to Faro. It is around $35 and a 3.5 hour trip. You can also fly directly into Faro airport.

We recommend arriving in the Algarve by September 1st if you plan to attend the welcome party on September 2nd.

You really can't go wrong! However we especially recommend spending time in Lisbon and Porto. We have also heard amazing things about Madeira, an island just a 1.5 hour flight from Lisbon. Our planner says the Azores (a two hour flight from Lisbon and 2.5 hour flight from Faro) is great for hiking, whale watching, and outdoor activities.

We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. There will be childcare available through the hotel for those who need it! Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this, and thank you in advance for understanding.

Cocktail. The Algarve in September will still be very warm and our ceremony is outside. We recommend keeping this in mind when planning attire.
